Aircast Pneumatic Armband

The Aircast Pneumatic Armband is used to treat epicondylitis (tennis elbow) from overuse and repetitive activity. It is composed of a cushioned, non-slip armband and an inflated air cell. The air cell focuses pressure on the muscles in the arm that are activated, applying pressure to the area which helps increased blood flow. Increased circulation aids in the healing process. Research has shown that pressure underneath the air cell is increased up to 50%. The air cell only compresses muscles involved in movement, which assures that other muscles in the arm are not irritated with movement.
